Beach/Swimming Area - (No Life Guard on Duty) All swimming is at your own risk. Children under the age of 12 years need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pets are permitted to designated areas identified by signs. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up pet waste. If pets are a nuisance to other guests, owners will be asked to remove them from the swimming/beach area altogether.
Bicycles - Children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet, it’s the law.
Boats/Trailers - Parking is available in the designated boat/trailer parking lot.
Campfires - Please do not leave fires unattended. Please do not move fire rings.
Check in - 1:00 PM
Check out - 11:00 AM
Docks - Docks are available for daily, weekly or seasonal rentals.
Firearms/Drugs - Firearms or Drugs of any kind is NOT permitted in the campground. Violation of this rule will result in immediate notification to authorities, eviction of all person(s) in violation and instant removal of all personal property.
Firewood - Please do not cut, trim or strip trees on the premises for use of kindling/firewood. Please purchase wood locally. The Maine Legislature has banned all out of state firewood, which can carry harmful insects and diseases. Please visit the Maine Forest Service website for more information at Maine Forest Service web site. For your convenience, firewood is also available for purchase at the office.
Golf Carts - Golf carts must be registered at the office. They are permitted for use by licensed drivers only. Please do not operate carts after dusk without headlights.
Grey Water - State law prohibits the discharge of gray water (sink/shower) or black water (sewer) onto the ground or stored in containers.
Guests - There is an additional charge for day guest(s) at transient sites: $6.00 per day / $12.00 per night. Please ask your guests to stop at the office upon arrival and complete a “guest registration form”.
Pets - Maximum of two pets per site and must be leashed at all times, it is the owner’s responsibility to clean up waste after their pets. Pets are not to be left unattended at any time. Barking dogs will not be tolerated. If a pet demonstrates any aggressive behavior to persons or other pets, it will be required to leave the park.
Personal Property - Any personal property brought into the campground is done so at the campers own risk. Sebago’s Crooked River Campground is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft.
Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Rental Units - In order to keep all guests comfortable, we are unable to allow smoking or pets of any kind in our rental units. There will be a $300.00 cleaning fee applied to your bill if this policy is ignored. Any damage occurred to the unit(s) will also be billed to replace the damaged item(s).
Restrooms/Bathhouse - Children under the age of 7 years must be accompanied by an adult in the restrooms and shower area.
Speed Limit - The speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the entire campground.
Sebago’s Crooked River Campground is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to select our clientele and visitors, or to refuse those who choose not to abide by the policies, terms and conditions.
